We are currently working with a 100+ year-old Consumer Packaged Goods organization that is about to embark upon a substantial supply chain planning system transformation.  To help ensure on-going success, they are looking for a Demand Planner to backfill the team members going onto the project.  This is a contract position that will last up to 23 months.

Position Description:

• Maintain a monthly forecast and drive the demand planning process.
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
• Participate in the financial budgeting process.
• Advise sales and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actuals.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 3-5 years finished goods forecasting / demand planning experience.
• Experience working in consumer goods is ideal.
• Comfort level leveraging statistical forecasting applications and Excel to drive the forecasting process.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
