They’re looking for an exceptional Director of Demand- and Supply Planning to lead the charge and make their centralized end-to-end planning model a reality. Scope of Responsibility:

• Design, implement and manage the process and team responsible for demand planning, supply / inventory planning, capacity planning and S&OP.
• Drive relationships across a network of internal plants in order to effectively plan inventory levels to satisfy demand.
• Remain current on best S&OP / IBP practices, and work to implement and continuously evolve the overall process to meet current and future business needs.
• Evaluate, select and drive implementation of a planning tool to support the process.
• Cross-functional collaboration across the organization to drive projects that will improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory, support new product introductions, and ultimately drive product availability.
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business units by identifying potential supply chain issues and recommending improvements.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement throughout the supply chain.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 10 years of supply chain planning experience, including solid forecasting / demand planning and/or supply planning / MRP background.
• Experience driving a successful S&OP / IBP process.
• Strong communication and influencing skills are a must.
• Experience moving from a manual / Excel-based environment to implementing a formal planning application such as John Galt, o9, Logility, Kinaxis, etc.
• Bachelor’s required.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
