Inventory Manager (Contract Role)
We are currently working with a rapidly growing consumer goods company that is seeing high double-digit year-over-year growth! As they continue to grow, they are looking for an Inventory Manager to help them manage the rapidly growing inventory they are having to manage. They need someone that has inventory management and warehousing experience, preferably in a growth environment. It’s an exciting time and this role will oversee multiple sites and build SOPs and processes from the ground up. It’s an new opportunity with an excellent company. This is a 4-to-5-month contract role that is planned to go full-time at the beginning of 2024.
Position Description:
- Ownership of inventory aging process including working with DCs, QA, Order Management and Sales to reduce waste.
- Ensure daily reconciliation and accurate reporting of departments is completed timely and accurately. Variances are researched, documented and adjustments are made after approved.
- Creates and maintains Inventory KPI’s from each facility.
- Creates and maintains Inventory KPI’s from each facility.
- Tracks all product QA Holds both internal and regulatory.
- Maintains cycle count schedule assuring accurate and complete count of inventory with the DC’s being cycle counted quarterly and or an annual Physical inventory.
Background Required:
- Highly energetic individual with at least 3-5 years of related warehouse and inventory management experience.
- Continuous Improvement training and experience preferred.
- Comfortable with Excel and ERP systems, SAP experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s preferred.
- Proven track record of success in similar role.
