Infor M3 MRP Configuration& Stabilization Lead (4-6 Month Contract)
Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid / 3 days on-site weekly)
Company Description:
We are currently working with a 100+ year-old Consumer Packaged Goods organization that is in the middle of a supply chain planning system transformation to Infor M3. In order to help ensure on-going success, they are looking for an experienced Infor M3 MRP Configuration & Stabilization Lead to provide hands-on support for the implementation, validation, go-live, and stabilization of Material Requirements Planning capabilities. This is a contract position that will last at least 4-6 months.
Position Description:
- Lead the hands-on configuration, review, and refinement of MRP functionality within Infor M3.
- Review current-state configuration and identify settings that may prevent accurate or reliable planning outputs.
- Identify master-data, integration, or process dependencies affecting MRP performance.
- Develop and execute end-to-end MRP test scenarios across representative materials, facilities, suppliers, and planning conditions.
- Lead root-cause analysis for inaccurate or unexpected MRP outputs.
- Provide dedicated MRP support during cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hyper care.
- Provide practical coaching to planners, buyers, master-data resources, super users, and IT support personnel.
Background Required:
- Prior hands-on ERP implementation experience involving Infor M3 MRP is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience personally configuring, testing, and stabilizing MRP functionality in Infor M3.
- Strong understanding of material planning, supply planning, inventory management, procurement, production planning, and master-data dependencies.
- Experience validating MRP outputs and diagnosing inaccurate planned orders, shortages, exception messages, or rescheduling recommendations.
- Experience supporting ERP cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hyper care.
- Proven ability to perform structured root-cause analysis across configuration, data, integration, and business-process issues.
- Ability to translate technical system behavior into clear business implications and actions.
- Ability to work independently, make recommendations, and drive issues through resolution in a fast-paced implementation environment.
